In the third quarter of 2024, the top photo and video applications on the iOS platform in Europe showed varied performance trends. This analysis, powered by Sensor Tower data, provides insights into the weekly downloads, revenue, and active users of these leading apps.

CapCut - Video Editor from Bytedance Pte. Ltd saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $563K and peaking at nearly $999K by the end of September. Its weekly downloads fluctuated, with a significant rise to around 653K in the final week. The app maintained a robust base of weekly active users, ranging from about 5.5M to over 5.2M throughout the quarter.

Instagram experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, beginning at roughly $695K and reaching up to $867K by the end of September. Downloads showed a general upward trend, peaking at about 528K mid-September. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 62.8M.

YouTube: Watch, Listen, Stream recorded high weekly revenue, consistently above $5M, with a peak of approximately $5.9M at the end of the quarter. Weekly downloads were steady, averaging around 500K. Active users saw a slight decline, ending the quarter with about 181.6M.
